I am planning to unlock my iphone 3g 16 GB. I plan to unlock and jailbreak it, so that I can install cracked apps. But my doubt is, Can I still be able to update my iPhone 3G through iTunes, after this process?

How are you going to unlock it when no software unlocking solution has been made/found yet? (WinPwn/Pwnage Tool does not unlock iphone 3Gs).

Usually if you update a jailbroken/unlocked iPhone, 3G or not, through iTunes it will loose the jailbreak & will be locked again. Then you would have to redo the process with WinPwn (Windows) or PwnageTool (Mac), but will still have the update if done correctly.

My screen is cracked but I don’t want to spend money to get it fixed. I still have the original 1 year limited warranty. My battery seems to be dying faster than its supposed to, so i wonder if that’s enough of a reason for customer service to send me a new iphone and i can send them my broken one back.

Because you cracked your screen, there is really very little you can do to convince Apple or AT&T that is should be replaced under warranty. That at the very top of a very short list of things not covered by the warranty, right next to liquid damage.

If you know how much it costs and if there is a 32g iphone 3g and how much that one would costs i would love to hear your answer.

The $699 pricing is not available yet but you could always open up 2year serv and buy it for $299 and cancel and the early termination fee would be $175 you would still be better off. There is not a 32g out yet I guess that will be next year:)

okay i really want one and its okay if its 3G Iphone ill upgrade it, but it needs to be absolutely FREE! no catch! Maybe u have one i can have? I have the iphone 3g and i wanna seperate my pictures does anyone know how to do so? Please help!

In your computer, load all of your iphone photos. Then, make seperate folders on your computer. After you are done organizing all of your photos, go to the settings for photos section when you click on your iphone(plugged into itunes). Then, click on the folders that you want synced and then sync your iphone! Voila!

My battery for my iphone 3g only lasts about 2 to 2.5 hours and then I have to stick it back on the charger. I don’t think it is supposed to do that. I do not use it all that much. I just send texts.

A legit problem would be any type of technological problem with the phone. Like the buttons don’t work or the battery or the charging system doesn’t work. Hello. As the new cheaper 3g iphone is coming out I have heard that text messaging is not bundled with it in the data plans. I was wondering if i could use the free yahoo sms text messaging that is available on the web on here. I mean since this is on the internet and the iphone has access to the internet, couldn’t i just text for free on the web with the iphone?

Well, the answer is yes. If you will have access to Wifi you will be able to send text messages with free sms text services with no problem.

How many is the maximum number of iphone 3g apps you can have on a iphone 3g 16GB ?

There is no maximum of apps. However, there is a maximum of 9 pages of apps (144 apps) and 16 gb of memory. Apps are about 1 mb so that limits the number of apps (according to size) to very roughly 16000. So you will definitely have enough space if you only use it for apps and even if your apps are much bigger than average.
